General Information
The Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Education requires the following:
- A minimum of 128 hours must be completed with a cumulative CU GPA of 2.0.
- A minimum overall 2.0 GPA must be maintained on all Engineering Core Courses.
- A maximum of 3 hours of Independent Study may count toward the degree.
- The last 30 hours of the degree must be completed while registered in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at UCCS.
- Work experience, and credit from Military Science and ROTC courses, will not apply toward a degree from the College of Engineering.
Additional course work is required to complete the Engineering Education, BS degree. Please see the advising guide on the Academic Advising website for more information and a sample 4-year schedule.

Core Courses (9 credit hours)
Complete all of the following courses:
Introductory Course (3 credit hours)
Complete one Introductory Course elective from the following:
Engineering Foundations Courses (6 credit hours)
Complete 6 hours of Engineering Foundations Course electives from the following:
Engineering Capstone (4-6 credit hours)
Complete a minimum of 4 hours of ENGR courses from one of the following options. Students must have a junior level status in order to take the Capstone.
Mathematics (21 Credit Hours)
Complete all of the following courses.
Note: Math courses require a grade of “C” or better to progress through the Math sequence.
Basic Science (23-24 credit hours)
Complete all of the following courses:

Note: A grade of “B-” or better must be earned in all Education courses except for UTLS 3480, which must be completed with a “C” or better.
