Undergraduate Certificate in Geographic Information Science

General Requirements

The undergraduate GIScience certificate consists of three required and two elective courses. Students who are in a degree program at UCCS or who register as non-degree can take courses to earn the certificate. To earn the certificate, students must complete 20 credits: 12 from the required courses and 8 from the set of elective courses. A minimum grade of C must be earned in all certificate courses.

Applying for the Certificate

After completing the 20 credits eligible for the certificate, student can submit an application to the certificate coordinator, Dr. Diep Dao (tdao@uccs.edu).
