The UCCS Computer Science Department offers a set of graduate courses on campus which leads to a Certificate in Secure Software Systems. Students completing the four courses will receive a Graduate Certificate in Secure Software Systems from UCCS. These courses can count as credits towards one of the following programs: Master of Science in Computer Science , Master of Engineering, Information Assurance (MEIA) , Master of Engineering, Software Engineering (MESE) , PhD in Engineering Security concentration (PhDSec) , or PhD in Engineering Computer Science concentration (PhDCS) . The MEIA degree program and curriculum are certified by the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and meet the Information Assurance Professional (4011) Training Standards.
