Secure Software Systems Certificate

The UCCS Computer Science Department offers a set of graduate courses on campus which leads to a Certificate in Secure Software Systems. Students completing the four courses will receive a Graduate Certificate in Secure Software Systems from UCCS. In addition, the courses can constitute 40% of the following programs: Master of Science in Computer Science , Master of Engineering, Informaiton Assurance (MEINA) , or Master of Engineering, Software Engineering (MESEN) . In addition, the courses can be used in the PhD in Engineering  degree program.

The MEINA degree program and curriculum are certified by the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and meet the Information Assurance Professional (4011) Training Standards. Successful graduates of the MEINA degree program will receive the CNSS Information Assurance Professional (4011) certificate without additional testing requirements.
