English Literature Minor

Course Work

To complete a minor in English Literature, a total of 21 credit hours is required, 9 of which must be from UCCS. A student must pass (with a grade of C- or better) each of the following courses.

• ENGL 2010 - Introduction to Literary Studies (For English Majors Only)

•  

• ENGL 3000 - Literary Criticism in Theory and Practice

•  

  12 credit hours of Literature electives.  At least one course must be American; at least one course must be British.

   

  3 credit hours of 4000-level Literature seminar (must be taken in residence).
