General Requirements
- 33 credit hours of Psychology coursework, at least 18 of which must be upper-division (3000+ level).
- 30 credit hours of WEST coursework, at least 21 of which must be upper-division (3000+ level).
- All PSY courses, with the exception of electives, must be completed with grades of C- or better.
- All WEST courses must be completed with grades of C or better.
- An exit exam and portfolio must be completed prior to graduation.

Foundation Courses
Before attempting other course requirements, students should complete the four required foundation courses listed below: Core Content Courses
Complete four courses from those listed below with no more than one course from any given area: Advanced Seminar Courses
Complete one of the following: Psychology Electives
Complete 6 additional credit hours of unused Psychology courses to meet total and upper-division requirements for the major. Senior Accountability Exam
Complete the Psychology Senior Accountability Exam. Visit the Psychology department’s website for details. Women’s and Ethnic Studies Courses
Core Courses
Complete both of the following courses: Substantive Area Courses
Complete at least one class from each of the following substantive areas (for a total of three courses). Transnational/Global Studies
Creative and Artistic Expression
Social Movements, Communities, and History
Upper-Division WEST Electives
Complete 15 additional hours of unused upper-division (3000+ level) Women’s and Ethnic Studies electives. Note: PSY/WEST crosslisted courses may count toward this requirement, as can: |
