Sociology Minor

22 credit hours of SOC coursework, 9 of which must be upper-division (3000+ level).
All courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.

Course Requirements

SOC 1110 - Introduction to Sociology
SOC 3070 - Social Research Methods
SOC 3150 - Modern Sociological Theory or
SOC 3170 - Social Statistics
Complete 10-11 credit hours of SOC course electives, to include at least 9 credit hours of upper-division (3000+ level) coursework. Students are encouraged to consult with sociology faculty to identify courses that best address their academic and professional interests, and to consider a capstone (Summit) course.
