SPED 5004 - Self-determination and Transition3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
This course presents self-determination and development, implementation, and evaluation of self-management instructional programs for students. Service delivery models, issues, and intervention approaches are examined in light of efficacy research. Emphasis is upon using self-management and learning strategies to facilitate self-determination. Fifteen (15) hours of field experience is required. Prer., SPED 5001 and SPED 5003. Meets with SPED 3004.
