ENGL 3610 - Hip Hop Poetics

Provides background and tools of “hip hop poetics” for students to enter debates about the role of rap poetry in hip hop culture and American literary history. Fulfills the English Department’s diversity requirement. Approved for LAS Cultural Diversity requirement. Prer., ENGL 1305, 1308, or 1310.
