CS 4100 - Compiler Design I3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
Underlying theory and design techniques for compilers. Lexical analysis, top-down and bottom-up parsing algorithms, runtime storage management, syntax directed translation schemes, intermediate code generation. Approved for Compass Curriculum requirement: Capstone Experience. Prer., CS 2160, CS 3160, CS 4700/5700; Engineering majors only. Meets with CS 5100.
